Cooking & Left Over's

In these days of cut backs and tax increases, the general public may find they have to go back to the make do attitudes, which includes using up left over food from previous days.
With this in mind, I am writing this article, for cooking & left overs

Bubble & squeak, a well know left over meal, by using up left over potatoes & cabbage, you could also add cooked bacon for added taste, and cook it all together in a frying pan with a small amount of butter or margarine.

Signs of the times

The signs of the times, I do not intend be political in any way or bias but the present government seems hell-bent on making harder than it needs to be with its present policies of cutbacks.
Which affect all sectors of the community, affecting people's lives on a widespread scale.

This present great credit crunch shows no signs of improving the quality of life for the general public even if it is supposed to be doing that, in fact assess signs of the times this credit crunch is affecting high street businesses even building societies are sub-coming to the pressures of rising prices for property and therefore closing various branches.


If such well-known establishments such as the Halifax and Nationwide building societies are having to close branch offices, what chance does the common man have against such a tidal wave of financial cutbacks.
One can't help wondering if the politicians in power are also affected by these new policies, are they willing to accept increasing taxation or have they found a way of exempting themselves.
